Put in two IVs tonight, one was a really hard stick that generally required ultrasound guidance by an RN trained to do such. The patient told me “the use the machine on me.”

You know what, ya’ll? I am the machine. Boom. Pain medicine can continue henceforth.

So, no genuine lesson or any kind of deep profundity to chew over with this post. Just take the win when you can. Be good to others, and good to yourself.
