I am Benjamin Hoffman. I am an avid amateur writer with roughly 26.5 years of writing under my belt. I got my start in middle school when I was in a creative writing competition called “Power of the Pen,” and wrote many short stories. I later branched out to general prose/poetry, and I have found many muses over the years. I tend to write extemporaneously, and don’t mull over my work too much, save for my short stories, which tend to be slow forthcoming. I have insatiable curiosity, and will never forget what my parents told me when I was eleven years old: “the world is your laboratory.” I considered majoring in English, but decided to stay on the healthcare path, and became a Registered Nurse by trade. I have a headache and anxiety addled mind, and major depression, and likely some other diagnoses.
Welcome to my blog. Enjoy your time here.
